It is with great pleasure that my Coach Tim Crowley and I welcome you to race in the 2nd Annual Marlborough Triathlon!Over the last five years I have been fortunate to race in triathlons all over the world. I have witnessed first hand the tremendous support triathlons have in countries like Germany, Japan and Australia.
It has been my passion to help promote the sport in our country and to make our races more spectator friendly. In addition, I have always wanted to bring a world class event to Massachusetts. I believe we have found the perfect venue in Marlborough! The Fort Meadow Pond and Marlborough High School will allow for plenty of space for a big time event. I am very excited about the loop bike course which will allow for lots of cheering along the course and provide each athlete a flavor of an international competition.
We thank the town of Marlborough and it's leaders for the opportunity to host a triathlon in this great town. The race will support the local Marlborough Public Schools Foundation which helps to provide for school needs. In addition, we have partnered with the Children's Hospital a cause that is very important to me and international community.
